Like a good wine, I’m complex, lively and French!
I was born and bred in France, close to Calais. Growing up, I planned to get a job in education and was studying to become a Physics and Chemistry teacher when I decided to take a break to learn another language. I thought it could be useful and where better to learn than in the country itself?
An opportunity came up in Manchester and I’m still here! I was trapped (in a good way) by a British woman who is now my wife. We live in Stockport and are parents to petit Louis.
I’m a lucky guy who found a home away from home in England’s amazing North West. Not only that but I turned one of my passions into a business and career.
To earn some cash during my studies I also worked as a photojournalist for a local newspaper. I covered big, important stories like the Annual Sausage Festival in my home town. That’s THE event of the year. They really love sausages in Aire sur la Lys.
Since then I have been improving my photography skills (and equipment!) and growing my passion with a focus on wedding photography. I have an informal style and I’m a people person so I thrive at weddings when I’m surrounded by happiness and fun. Yes, I’ll blend into the background to take unobtrusive, documentary-style shots, but I’ll also mingle, chat and joke with everyone. Think of me as another guest, just one with a big camera! Putting people at ease is one of my priorities as a wedding photographer as well as providing a professional service alongside authentic, fun and relaxed wedding photographs.
