Ruth and Chris
Ruth and Chris wanted a fun, relaxed wedding with a touch of DIY and The Hall at Marthall in Knutsford was the perfect venue to make the day personal. They chose to have their ceremony in the council chambers of Stockport Town Hall, a beautiful semi-circular room surrounded by stain glass. Outside the room is the Marble Staircase which is perfect for a dramatic exit.
I joined Ruth and her sister at the hotel for the bridal preparation. The two sisters did their make-up themselves before joining the rest of the family for a brunch downstairs.
Before the wedding reception, the bright sun had dropped in the sky which was perfect for some relaxed portrait photos with dramatic lighting. The bride and groom wanted to have the speeches before the meal so that everyone could eat without worrying. One of their friends is a pastry chef and had made the wedding cake to be served for dessert.
Later on, the bride and groom got the party started with their first dance. The guests didn’t take long to jump in and throw some crazy moves on the dance floor. Including some flossing!
Big Congratulations to Ruth and Chris for their wedding and and thank you for choosing me to be part of the day.
