Sharon and Ramzey
Here’s one of my September weddings – Sharon and Ramzey’s special day at Shrigley Hall with a few of my favourite photos, taken in a documentary style to give a true representation of the day.
The day started at Shrigley Hall in the beautiful executive suite which has a stunning view of green countryside. Sharon had her daughter as the maid of honour and they got ready together after enjoying breakfast in the room with mini pastries and a glass of bubbles which helped to calm the nerves. When the time came, the bride and her daughter were taken to Stockport Registry Office in one of Horgans‘ Beauford Tourers.
Stockport Town Hall Wedding
I found the groom with the rest of the guests just before they entered the Sir A Brumwell Thomas room for the ceremony. I could feel the emotion building up until the bride made her entrance, given away by her son. This was shortly followed by the bride and groom hugging each other. They came out the room to find the guests armed with confetti and confetti canons!
Back in the car and hitting Stockport A6’s traffic and rain, we were back at Shrigley Hall for the party. The room was beautifully set up by Precious things in a black and white theme, matching the brand new William Turner Suite which was recently redecorated in an elegant grey colour scheme.
Relaxed Portrait Photography
The weather gave us a break so we could nip outside for some relaxed portrait photos. I love when it has been raining because I can use the reflections in the puddles and dramatic sky in my photography.
Back inside for the speeches and meal before the venue changed over for the evening party. Later on, there was a spectacular warm sunset over the hills which could be seen from the front of the venue so we took full advantage of it. We even had time to borrow a golf cart and go for some extra portrait photos before the first dance.
If you’re planning on getting married at Shrigley Hall or Stockport Town Hall, please get in touch. I would love to discuss your wedding plans.
