Ayah and James
I photographed a late summer wedding at Shrigley Hall. Ayah and James decided to tie the knot in this beautiful grand venue in Cheshire. Here is a selection of my favourite photographs from the day, captured in an informal style.
Bride and Groom Preparation
I started the day with Ayah, her bridesmaids and the mothers who had their make-up and hair done in one of Shrigley Hall’s many rooms. James was also getting ready in the hotel so I could nip between the rooms quickly and easily to capture both preparations.
When the time came, I followed James to the Ellen Turner suite for the “I dos”. It was here that Ayah and James said their beautiful vows surrounded by their family and friends who travelled from all around the country as well as Cairo where Ayah’s family lives. We were lucky to have gorgeous sunshine outside where everyone could enjoy the drink reception and throw some confetti before sitting down for the meal.
Later on, when the sun was setting and giving a lovely warm tone, I took the bride and groom for a short walk around the lake to create some stunning, yet relaxed, portraits of the newly weds.
