I’m Thomas, a documentary wedding photographer based in Stockport. Liverpool and Merseyside is well within my regular area, and it’s a city I know well from years of photographing weddings here.
My approach is relaxed and unobtrusive. I’m there to capture what actually happens on your wedding day, not to direct it. No posed shots, no interruptions, no stopping the day for the camera. Travel to Liverpool and Merseyside is included as standard with no additional costs.
Liverpool has a strong and varied wedding venue scene. The city has some genuinely iconic buildings that make for a distinctive backdrop, alongside country estates on the outskirts of Merseyside, rooftop venues, boutique hotels, and garden spaces. It’s a city with a lot of character, and that tends to come through in the photography.
Liverpool couples tend to have a clear sense of what they want from their day and are often drawn to venues with a strong identity of their own. That suits my documentary approach well.
I’m a recommended supplier at Knowsley Hall, one of the most prestigious wedding venues in the region and a country estate I know particularly well. I also have a dedicated gallery on the Knowsley Hall page if you want to see the venue in more detail.
Other Liverpool and Merseyside venues I’ve worked at include St George’s Hall, Liverpool Town Hall, The Venue at the Royal Liver Building, Sefton Park Palm House, Scale Liverpool, Allerton Manor, Oh Me Oh My, and Hope Street Hotel. If your venue isn’t on this list, get in touch and I’ll let you know if I’ve worked there before.
Here’s a look at some of the weddings I’ve covered across Liverpool and Merseyside.
As well as Liverpool and Merseyside, I cover weddings across the wider North West and beyond. If you’re planning a wedding in Cheshire, Manchester city centre, Greater Manchester, Lancashire, Derbyshire, or North Wales, get in touch. I also photograph destination weddings abroad, including in France, Belgium, and Switzerland.
Yes. I’m a recommended supplier at Knowsley Hall, which is one of the most prestigious wedding venues in the region. I’ve also covered weddings at Scale Liverpool, Allerton Manor, St George’s Hall, Liverpool Town Hall, The Venue at the Royal Liver Building, Sefton Park Palm House, Oh Me Oh My, and Hope Street Hotel. If you’re planning a wedding at a Liverpool or Merseyside venue, get in touch and I can let you know whether I’ve worked there before.
Yes. St George’s Hall and Liverpool Town Hall are both venues I’ve covered several times. The architecture adds real character to a wedding day and the spaces photograph well across different seasons and lighting conditions. The Venue at the Royal Liver Building is another I know well. If you’re planning a wedding at one of Liverpool’s landmark venues, get in touch and I can give you an honest sense of how the day typically runs.
Still have a question or want to check your date? Get in touch and I’ll get back to you.
