The Oak Tree of Peover is is a beautiful venue in Knutsford, Cheshire which I wanted to photograph. I was excited to have the opportunity to see this place in action for Charis and Adam’s wedding, shooting alongside my good friend, Steve Grogan.
Keeping my work fresh
Since I started in wedding photography, I’ve probably done over 100 weddings. It’s important for me to keep it fresh and the creativity up. I’ve tried different things such as workshops as well as online training but the best way is to shoot alongside another photographer. I’ve done a good number of second shootings this year with various people where they take the lead. This gives me the opportunity to work on finding different angles without the stress of missing any key moments.
As my friend Steve Grogan says: “Grab a glass of Vimto” or I would suggest some delicious French wine “and enjoy the preview”.
